Welcome to the Chair of International Economics

Together with my team, I am responsible for teaching in the fields of international economics, environmental and resource economics, population economics and, last but not least, the 1st semester introductory course in economics. Moreover, we contribute to teaching econometrics and empirical economic research.

Our research deals with issues of environmental and climate economics, of forced labour and modern slavery, and of crypto currencies. We use methods of static and dynamic optimisation as well as modern econometrics. For further details please consult the individual web pages of the team members.
