Philipp Lorscheider studied Business Administration (B.A.) at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. He completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in 2023, specializing in advanced microeconomics, econometrics, and machine learning.
Since April 15, 2024, Philipp Lorscheider has been working as a research associate at the chair. His research focuses on the intersection of Environmental & Urban Economics. In particular, he examines the effectiveness of local regulatory instruments in mitigating externalities (Policy Impact Assessment) and analyzes the socio-environmental footprints of sustainable urban design (Sustainable Urban Governance).
