In my research, I study behavioural questions about trust and cooperation. Apart from experimental economic projects addressing specific behavioural asepcts, I am particularly interested in the connection between individual characteristics such as identity and attitudes towards migration. I believe that the increasing polarisation in many societies is likely to undermine social cohesion. In my research I try to understand what drives these processes and how current developments might be mitigated.
